Molyguard DMP/PTFE

Silicone grease to PTFE for plain and rolling bearings

MOLYGUARD DMP PTFE is a grease that consists of medium viscosity silicone oil thickened with PTFE. It is suitable for the lubrication of plain or rolling bearings operating in a wide temperature range and at moderate pressures; it also possesses high resistance to water washout.

Characteristics:

MOLYGUARD DMP PTFE is characterized by performances that make it suitable for the applications requiring the grease which has:

  • Good ability to work in adverse environments;
  • Superior resistance to hot or cold water;
  • Excellent resistance to water vapour, up to 130°C;;
  • Very high adhesion (it is advisable to first clean the contacting parts with white spirit);
  • Ability to operate in a wide temperature range;
  • Toxicity in respect of foods and beverages.
Areas of Use:

MOLYGUARD DMP PTFE can be used in food, pharmaceutical, textile, paper and wood industries for the following:

  • Lubrication of organs operating in a wide temperature range at moderate pressures;
  • Lubrication of rolling bearings operating at high or low temperatures, from -50°C up to +200°C;
  • Lubrication of plain bearings, with the possibility of contact metal - metal;
  • Help to the assembly of rubber components;
  • Resistance when operating in aggressive environments;
  • Lubrication of components where there is a risk of accidental contact with a food or beverage.
Warnings:

It is advisable to check the compatibility with the materials that it will be in contact.

This product does not resist to most organic solvents, strong acids and alkaline solutions.
